Nowadays, Finance Professionals communicate in English rather than Dutch as the majority of the companies are operating internationally. Operating confidently in an international working environment demands a high level of English and, for this reason, we facilitate a tailor-made Business English course.
What can you expect?
A combination of classroom sessions combined with an online environment for homework and self-study, as well as an app for support. Speaking & writing, listening & reading skills are key components of the course. The course also develops use of English (grammar and vocabulary) and practices functional communicative language pertinent to the field of finance.

It is also possible to take the Bec Higher examination from Cambridge. The Cambridge Business English Certificates (BEC) are internationally recognized Business English Exams at B2 (Vantage) and C1 (Higher) levels. The fee for the exam is approximately €250.

Program Business English for Financials
All four language skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing, are integrated to enable students to use business English in more ambitious ways in international work environments. During class time, participants are introduced to a range of realistic business scenarios, and encouraged to increase their range, accuracy and use of appropriate language in order to communicate in a more professional manner in English. Guided homework is set to throughout the course to reinforce language and prepare for the examination Bec Vantage (B2) / Bec Higher (C1).
