Why Business Valation?
Finance professionals are increasingly involved in business valuation as their firms are acquiring or selling businesses. They are also requested to use valuation techniques to assess financial progress. This course will give students a solid, practical understanding of the relevant disciplines of financial accounting and financial analysis for business valuation.
What can you expect?
This course provides the knowledge and skills to derive and interpret important metrics in assessing, comparing and forecasting financial performance in a capital market setting. This should enable the participant to estimate and critically review a company valuation.

Dennis Jullens is lecturer in Valuation & Accounting in the Accounting & Control Group of the University of Amsterdam. Dennis has more than 20 years’ experience in equity research of which 12 years at UBS. Since 2012, he teaches courses in corporate finance, financial reporting, financial analysis and business valuation.
