About Power Pivot

In our Excel Power Pivot course you will learn to compose a PowerPivot model in Microsoft Excel and how to use it to draw up a report with pivot tables and pivot graphs. The information comes from various sources, such as from linked Excel tables, from text files or from databases. You will learn the difference between a flat database and a relational database and you will get to know the DAX functionality, which allows you to apply calculations to your data. You will also get acquainted with some DAX functions.

Power Pivot is an Excel add-in that enables you to create powerful data analyses and comprehensive data models. With Power Pivot you can quickly analyse big data from multiple sources and easily share insights. You can create your own data model via a collection of tables and link them together.
